Furesø

The site is situated on a steep hill next to the lake, and is characterized by huge trees and forestlike density.
Atelier Lise Juel mapped the landscape in order to establish a positions where a spatial exchange between forest. house and lake could take place. The mapping indicated a landscape route with elements to preserve and to eliminate, and the plan for the house became a natural extension of this route. The plan is created by a spatial knot – the client wanted all spaces to connect into one and at the same time be private with differentiated veiws of the lake. The entrance is located in the center of the spatial knot.
