The basis for restoring one of the famous Kingo Houses also known as the Romer Hous Has been to make a kind of excavation of the house’ original qualities. The existing house was in spite of the many original characteristics, defined by a series of spatial disturbances, wakening the experience of the house.
The steps towards restoring the house has therefore been concerned around simplifying the inner surfaces and tactile character, and a strive towards simple and repetitive solutions assigning itself to the inherent module of the house, in order to strengthen and accentuate the spatial flow in the house.
